Modern Ice

Modern IceA couple weeks ago, we showed this downtown San Jose condo complex to a buyer we’re working with. Modern Ice was built by Taylor Morrison, and there are even more town homes that are currently in the middle of construction within this complex. You’ll find a nice park in the center where you can let your dogs run around and/or bring your kids to play. Modern Ice is located at 652 Luna Park Drive San Jose, CA. 95112.

The great thing about these town home style condos is Read the rest of this entry »

Mortgage Update

I wanted to pass on to you some information regarding current mortgage rates from a lender I work closely with, Mike Aning, of Turnkey Mortgage. Here is a quick and simple summary from him, which you can definitely share with your friends:

News

While employment numbers are certainly moving in the right direction, a rapid acceleration in labor demand is not yet in the cards – which by extension strongly suggests that a steady upward move for mortgage interest rates is not yet a threat either.

Downtown San Jose A Tech Magnet?

It isn’t yet, but will it ever be?

ISRAEL-HOLOCAUST/GOOGLE

Anyone who has heard of Silicon Valley knows that our area is the leading tech hub of the world. However, start-ups and other high tech companies are most famous for being located primarily in Mountain View and Palo Alto.

Could downtown San Jose ever be the place where start-ups, start up? There are many elements to downtown that make it seem like this should be one of the major areas of Silicon Valley, where high tech companies are attracted to. Almost everything is within walking distance, and if that’s not enough, there are different methods of transportation to get you from point A to point B within good time. You will find professionals walking the streets during day time hours, although,  significantly less on the weekends.

Downtown San Jose is an action-packed city Read the rest of this entry »

Showing Off Downtown

Park Townsend

Park Townsend Having shown this complex as well as others just a couple days ago to a buyer, I am reminded of what condo complexes downtown offer that have become so enticing to those that live there.

Let’s use Park Townsend as an example.  It’s located at 46 W. Julian Street San Jose, CA. 95110, which happens to be a short drive to freeway entrances and short distances to food, bars, and entertainment.

Aside from the ideal location of the complex, let’s talk about the perks of living here. There is a secure underground parking area for the residents, swimming pool, a spacious community room that can be rented for a certain amount of time, a nice gym, conference rooms, and the list goes on!

If you’ve ever been in this building then you know that the central theme for the interior is, luxury. The lights, the stairs, the handrails, and the paintings on the wall, all reflect this.

The actual unit that I showed to my buyer Read the rest of this entry »
