Living In The Heart of Downtown San Jose
How would you feel living in a 22-story building with a 72-foot lap pool, a marvelous barbecue area, billiards room, well-equipped gym, a luxurious community living room and kitchen, concierge working 5 days a week, secure parking, and the best location in downtown San Jose?
Well it’s not for everybody. But for those who are attracted to upscale city living, The 88 has pretty much everything one would need. Safeway is right downstairs attached to the parking garage and you would be surrounded by restaurants, lounges, bars, and shops. Most would say that The 88 has the prime location of downtown San Jose; I’d have to agree.
Let’s get into the specifics. The 88 has 197 units, 8 of those being penthouses, a few one-bedroom terraces on the lower floors, condo-style one, two, and three-bedroom floor plans. I stopped in the building yesterday to take a tour, and the sales associate mentioned that they are roughly 82% sold. There’s an observation deck on the 21st floor, and The 88 isn’t in a flight path or extremely close to the freeways. One Bedroom sizes vary from 825-1138 square feet while two bedroom sizes vary from 1033-1242 square feet.
The 88 would be an amazing place to live if you don’t mind not having a yard, are in love with what downtown San Jose has to offer, enjoy luxurious amenities, and take comfort in the feeling of living in a resort-like environment.
