One Of Downtown’s Hidden Gems

Chances Are, You Know A Few Yourself

Downtown SJ At Night

As a die-hard citizen of downtown San Jose, or as a frequent visitor, you may already realize that some of the places that you go to

aren’t the most famous places. Besides the quality of experience, this is probably one of the reasons why you keep going. It could be a hole-in-the-wall restaurant that makes the best burgers or a fun dive bar around the corner.

I’m always hearing about places to eat and hang-out, but today I came across something really interesting on the San Jose Blog.  I don’t go to many musicals or ballets but there’s a hidden gem of a theatre called, “The Stage” located in the south first area (SoFA) district of downtown, that seems unique enough to visit. If you’re interested in the musical, “Cabaret,” it’s going to be on for another two weeks in this low-key theatre. For more details about the show, go to the San Jose Blog. To keep up with who’s performing on certain dates at “The Stage”, click here.

Have you ever seen a performance at “The Stage” before? Was it different than watching a performance at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts? Leave a comment below and don’t forget to subscribe. Happy Friday!
